Although still very new to the DJ scene, charstape’s love for music is evident in hosting her own urban radio show. She curates playlists for Spotify, SubTV and the Student Radio Association and has interviewed artists such as Kano, NSG and Mahalia.

As a result, she has developed an expansive knowledge and love for hip-hop, especially the women in it, and brings this to the decks.

However, her passion for music does not stop at hip-hop as charstape enjoys incorporating elements of electro, dance and afrobeats into her sets, ensuring for an interesting performance.

With upcoming events including DJing for the Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred cricket event this summer and Carnival at the Digbeth Arena, charstape has a promising future as a DJ.
